I lived alone in a new apartment and my shy, creepy neighbour gave me uncomfortable goosebumps from the beginning. He was repulsive and fascinating at the same time. However, he seemed to like me, at least my scent. But he didn't look at me or talk to me. What the hell was that supposed to be? At first unsettled, but soon more and more self-confident, I started a game that I had no sense of how much it would drive me crazy...

I gave up my life four hundred years ago, for my friends and family. Sickness had claimed many in my home town. I gave up my human soul for them and in return I was give immortal soul. Not a vampire or any of that rubbish. Though they do exist. I watched everyone I loved in the time of their dying, knowing I couldn't follow them. Four hundred years later, I'm alive. And feast on the souls that no one uses, as they had before. In sacrificing one life for another, I pray every day, that my past in some way doesn't come back to me. But I was wrong.

It all happened so fast. So quick. I didn't even realize what was going on. By the time I did however, it was far too late. They were all gone. All dead. Or, I guess you could say that they are somewhat alive. They're living, after all. They're the living dead. I'm so stupid. I should have be faster, I should have noticed. Oh, but there isn't time now. I've got to go. Fast. Or I'll become one of them.

I was just laying down on my bed, cuddled up with a book, when I heard a faint creak on the stairs. The sound was muffled seeing as the door was shut, but I heard it nevertheless. My eyes wandered to the door and I tried to be as silent as possible in my attempt to locate another sound. My body was tense, but relaxed when I didn't hear another noise. It's probably just my imagination, I thought. My paranoia was probably just getting the best of me since I was home alone. I heard the stairs creak again however and I heard... Footsteps. I put my book down slowly and got off my bed as quietly as I could. Yes, those were definitely footsteps. I opened my door slowly, trying to be as silent as possible. There was someone already on the other side of the door, however, and I screamed. Girl x Girl I suppose?? Doesn't really revolve around it but there is some Girl x Girl ish in here so... yeah.

My lungs and muscles burned. Everything in my body begging me to stop but I had to keep moving. I had to get away. I rather die than go back to that lab but this building was a maze! Never ending hallways and big metal sliding doors that you see in space movies. All I could hear was the patter of my bare feet, heavy breathing, and my heart beating in my ears. "Hey!!! Stop her! Whatever you do, do NOT let her get away!!" A man yelled after me but I couldn't look back. Even as I heard the whoosh of metal doors opening and the thudding of boots chasing after me.

I was lying down with my eye closed but i couldn't feel what I was lying on. I didn't feel like i'm floating nor falling. I opened my eyes but it was all black. I put my hand in front of my face. Even with the darkness surround me but I could still see my hand. Where am I?

Little did I know that a knock on my front door on a Wednesday afternoon would turn my life upside down. It would change everything. Had I have known this ever-so-useful piece of information beforehand, I would never have opened the door. In actual fact, I would have made sure I was as far away from it as possible. Unfortunately I don't happen to possess mind-reading powers, so therefore, the knock on the door came. And the one person who would singlehandedly destroy my life and make me question everything I've ever known, appeared. Right in front of me. He was RIGHT there. And there was nothing I could do. _______ Mature themes & some coarse language.

"I want her." My heart drops at the words. What does he think this is? It doesn't work that way. I quickly turn back around trying to push the door open. 'How the fuck did this door lock?' I think to myself as I bang on it trying to get any and everyone's attention. "Okay, and she's a virgin!" I hear my father speak to the man. It honestly feels like I am being buried alive.
