One picture is worth 1000 words. ............ Trying to cope with the expenses and everything, Mellow has given her best so that she could live a simple life without any more shocking or heart wrenching accidents that took away her loved ones. That's why she lives alone in a cozy apartment that is more than enough for her. Doesn't let anyone in. Neither in her place nor in her system. No best friend even. Only birthday letters from her Granny. Or so she thinks. She also has Aunt Cecilia who always tries to make her happy...too nice for her own good. So she left her and went to The States. Living a peaceful and quiet life with no interference of anyone. Oh! How she regretted it sometimes. God bless her soul when things take drastic turns after nearly two years of her job, pulling her out of the obscurity. And everything comes rushing back to push her into that infinite duskiness. AGAIN. There was purple in the air.

A collection of dark, angsty, and bittersweet one-shots. ~*~ Since she'd forced him to allow himself to feel his emotions, they were on a hairpin trigger and she was never sure when she'd pull on one. He'd spent years planting landmines in the ether of his thoughts in order to protect himself. Then came she, dancing around them, pushing his buttons, and falling in love with him. The price she paid for that, his temporary visits and his leaving, was worth the agony they left behind. Sometimes, she would go so long without seeing him that her mind almost convinced her he was fictional by the time he finally fell through her window. Now he was here, he'd become real again. She could touch, kiss and hug him-love him. ~*~ The above excerpt is from, Worth the Pain.
