"You used to let me help..." He starts "Why did you stop?"
"Because I know nothing will help." I say "The only thing to stop them is to not sleep."
"That's taking a toll on your body. We can all see it." He says "You're not going to last in a fight."
"I'll be fine. I did it after Insomnia was attacked." I hiss "I can do it again to keep Noct safe."
"You are not doing this again! I saw what it caused!" He yells
"You can't stop me Ignis." I snap, throwing out my arm the scars showing "Just like you couldn't stop this."
He takes a step back, looking at the ground, then looks back at me, a hard glare on his face.
"You didn't let me come with you." He argues back
"Since when has that stopped you from doing anything? Because I'm pretty sure I remember you telling me that you would never hide anything from me. Yet you hid the knowledge of me being the Healer from me!" I yell
"That was for your safety!" He argues
"I don't need constant protecting Ignis." I say "I know how to protect myself."

The events begin as always, with the attack on Tenebrae. Except a young girl interferes with the attempt on Queen Sylva Via Fleuret life all stand in awe of her when things move forward each event that would lead to Noctis's death is altered by this girl. She stood between Noctis and the Gods changing the outcome of his destiny. With the Queen of Tenebrae and the King of Lucis left wondering who this child was. Niflheim forces were at a lose as she decimated them with each attack. Unable to reproduce the MT'S as fast as she destroyed them, their forces couldn't hold the empire's conquered lands. Those lands turning to Tenebrae and Lucis for protection from being reconquered. With the Niflheim empire collapsing on Ardyn he was losing everything he had worked for to defy a God and end it all.Complete

Though deemed power-hungry and warmongering by those fortunate enough to live outside of its rule, to Gaia Machina, it was home. Well, "home" was a stretch. Initially planned to be an espionage unit more akin to an android than her MT brethren, budget limitations reduced Gaia to just another pawn used for more destruction. That was, until a chance fight outside of Insomnia, Lucis's capital, gave her the opportunity she needed for her own freedom. She was finally able to make her own choice: to take her own side and forge her own path- a path of redemption. Throwing caution to the wind and hiding her magitek nature, she set off to join Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum in finally bringing an end to Niflheim's destruction. However, walls eventually crumble, no matter what. Her act can only be held up for so long before her new friends realize she isn't exactly the hunter she claimed to be. It also seemed that fate had more in store for the rogue magitek than just helping the Chosen King fulfill his destiny. Reminders of her past, brought into a new light by her choices in the present.
