On January 21st ,1973, Vanessa Johnson later known as Aaliyah was born. She became a rising star at the age of 13 and her dreams were coming true. Vanessa was also happy that she would be able to help her mother out after her parents got a divorce and her dad left. He was the money maker and her mom was a housewife. They lived in the rough part of California, which is Compton.
