Violet was born a twin a crime so horrible it is punished with death. If it weren't for her mother she would have died the day she was born. Of course living doesn't have much perks when everyone seems to hate you. Content with the fact that she is going to die an old maid violet is startled when a strange king comes asking for her hand in marriage. When she decides to go with him violet unknowingly stumbles into a battle between two kings in which she is the prize. Haunted in her dreams by the black wolf that killed her mother and a hunter with a scarred face. She must use all of her skills to find the truth about the royal court and save a kingdom from a pack of wolves that stalk the night. But how long can she avoid her fate when danger waits for her around every turn.
