A typical link filmed during BGT has unexpected consequences for the boys - particularly Dec.

When he was younger, back when it had all been a secret, Dec had felt strangely brave. He knew Stephen had too, like that time he told him he'd felt invincible. With everything out in the open, the courage was coming back and they were starting to settle into their new existence. There were new challenges but also new freedoms. And one familiar face from the past to threaten it all... Dec/Stephen Sequel to 'the world, coming down' & 'as we fall apart'

It was a normal day for Ant and his Mam till suddenly there's a car crash and it leaves Ant in a coma. How will Christine, Anne-Marie, Dec and the rest of the family take the news? Will they be able to bring Ant back? How's Dec going to cope?

"Maybe it would be best if..." "What's that supposed to mean?" "I don't think I can do this anymore." It felt like it came out of nowhere. They'd had a lot to contend with for a long time but still, after it all, they'd had each other. Until they didn't. Pressure was building for Dec to find a relationship the media would be happy with. Ant supports Dec through the death of his father.

When an episode of Saturday Night Takeaway happens to fall on April 1st, the audience was expecting there to be a few hi-jinks between the boys. They weren't expecting one to pass out right in the middle of the show. At first, no one believes that it's for real - not even Ant, who remembers Dec's little stunt on SM:TV all too well. Surely he wouldn't have tried to pull the same trick again? Sick-fic.
