16-year-old Frankie McDowell has seen a lot. He practically raises his brother, Pete, who doesn't want any part of it, walked in on his sister - and her boyfriend - more often than he'd like to remember, and, right. Can't forget about him stumbling across the leader of the rival gang, stabbed to an untimely death, slouched against a dumpster.
And his summer vacation has just begun.

The idea to make her so young was to show how society has a habit of rubber stamping truly perverse behavior towards teenage girls, even though they are just that, girls. It happened in the 60's, it happens now. But I understand how reading it can be distressing. Also, sorry for any glaring grammatical errors, repetitious phrases or mistakes.
