This is my first non Oneshot book so be kind.
My name is Nico di Angelo and my life sucks just a bit.
Well my home life is fine... ish. My dad is rich so sometime he buys me stuff I want in an attempt to get back good books, but he doesn't do that 'Father-Son' closeness stuff so I may have Daddy issues.
The kids at school avoid me like the rat that started the plague and if they're not ignoring me they're bullying me. It's never gotten physical but it might soon cause I just ignore them and that's not what they want. Nope they need to see you cry.
That only leaves Percy Jackson and his gang. They're all pretty punk and badass oh and they happen to be the most good looking people in the school.
And I hate them all for reasons I'm not going to share.
And that's it. Oh and I'm Gay.

Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. His eyes narrowed at the blond, maybe after sneaking a glance at his ridiculously thin body in an even more ridiculous school uniform that hung off his bones. "Well, that's none of your business and-" Nico panicked for a moment as he searched his wrist, then tried following the teacher's instructions, until he felt the gentle thrum of life underneath his finger. "There! I d-have one." "Really?" Will grabbed his hand (okay, so it was less grabbing and more of a gentle grazing of his fingers against Nico's wrist) and oh. His eyes blew wide, and his heart pounded in his ears. Why did I let him do that? What do I do with my hand now? Can he feel how fast my heart is going?
