Pidge hides her birth name, originally Katie, from embarrassment of society and how it pressures her to reveal her feelings over her missing father and brother if she was ever found again. Continuing to "hide in the shadows", this girl is special by knowing every type of flower species there is and how to take care such unique plants. On days when Pidge needs supplies, she head into the supply store nearby, where she has access to the compartment building by a man who still thinks mullets are still in fashion (Kieth). Both friends and a business partnership together, Kieth and Pidge go back as friends when they were only kids. Recently, Kieth hired a janitor, to help keep his business clean yet a second price came along without himself knowing. The days at the flower shop can get alittle boring until the day a mysterious man, tall and strong, enters unexpectedly, catching Pidge by surprise. This man has been know to be serious and careless of the people around him, but does have a soft spot once you get to know him.
