Evangeline 'Evie' Kenway is a member of the Assassin Order; an organization who fight to ensure the survival of freedom. Growing up from hospitable strangers' cares as a young orphan, she joins the Order. She is sent to France three years after her completion of training to assassinate a Templar that is to be named as King Henry II from the French Royal Court. With an open heart and a wise mind, she encounters both love and betrayal while living and serving the Court disguised as nothing but a handmaiden.

She meets Queen Mary of Scotland, Prince Francis of France, and most of all, Sebastian, a man who she can't seem to get enough of of overthinking. 

As suspicions of killings arouse within the walls of the castle, Evie tries to balance both her heart's commands and her given mission as she falls in love with an illegitimate son while plotting an assassination for her target.All Rights Reserved
