Every Kurosaki has never and will never be afraid of Death. Death is a good and ancient friend of the Kurosaki Family. She meets every Kurosaki with a motherly smile on a gaunt face when one dies and leads them by their hand to their destined afterlife. She visits every newborn with a frostbitten kiss to their forehead and a shattering lullaby of bloodlust and chaos promised to those who dare harm the family. She visits every child with a warm hug and a skeletal hand through their hair as they meet for the first time when alive. Death is their mother. The one to foster the Kurosaki Ancestor, to bless them with their Sight, and grant them a greater avenue of magic. - Shinigami are created from Death herself. Some may fear her, but at the end of any day and any life, Death is their mother and they are comforted knowing she will be their fate. Death is a firm, but loving mother. While she may not be able to see her children grow, she loves them all the same. And they love her. Death is their mother. The one to create from what Life abandons, to grant them the power to protect the Abandoned, and gift them the rule of balance. - For each child that strays from the path of balance, Death weeps each time. Balance is meant to be kept and a child should not harbor ill intentions of ruling realms. The previous Master of Death is an example of what happens to children who betray her so harshly. - Ichigo is a child of Magic and of Shinigami. A young witch expelled from Mahōtokoro due to simple rumors and radicalness, now hides in the Living World and lives a somewhat normal human life, experimenting and exploring the depths and unknown of magic on the side. Life was decent, if a bit bland. A Shinigami appears in her life lead by a butterfly. Life begins anew for Ichigo and her sisters. Everything is twisted sideways for everyone involved. Witch, Witch, Vindictive Bitch. And her name is Kurosaki Ichigo.

Karin Kurosaki died March 6th the day of her 19th birthday. On that day she not only lost her life she lost her soul she lost her will to live. Now living in the soul Society she's forced to attend the Shino Academy and when she graduates her head captain has a special mission for her. Her heart is broken and her soul is shattered. She lives with the guilt of what she cannot Escape. She shut everyone out and lived in her own world the world of seclusion. But now she must face her darkest demons and confront the demon that haunts her. She swore zanpakuto would forever remain in its sheath so that it would never again cause such horrific destruction. Now she stands face to face with the monster. And an ache in her heart she can no longer ignore. The need to be with the one she Love's. For years she's pushed everyone away but now she no longer knows why she no longer has a suitable reason. She must find a new reason to live and a will to live.
