Crow didn't know anything other than how to kill. So he became an assassin, killing people for the right price. For the first few years everything was okay; he did his job right, nobody came after him and he had a loving mother (kinda)

But the life of crime, deceit and danger quickly overwhelmed him and Crow decided that it was time to change. But what can he, with his specific skill set, do?

Be the complete opposite of what he was taught. Instead of taking away lives Crow will now save them as he chose to be a Guardian. What could possibly go wrong?

...At least he made friends.

"Life is a game of chess. You are the player and everything you could make use of is in your hands. Kill, manipulate and adapt. There are blunders, mistakes as well as opportunities on the board waiting to be made." An assassin's life is pretty simple. Once you get a job, just follow the orders and end a miscreant's life. That's it. That's how Gaela lived her whole life, following orders of the higher ups and ending lives with her close group of acquaintances. She have no family, no emotions let alone will to live, always ready to die in a mission. One day, she receives an important mission that her close group of acquaintances cannot interfere with; protect David Moon, a young aspiring chess player who attends St. Peter's, a prestigious secondary school with the title as the Quintessential Chessman. How could an assassin who specialises with marksmanship protect someone who is targeted by many without realising without the help of her acquaintances? How would someone like Gaela adapt to a normal school life in order to protect David? What are the chances of Gaela meeting famous enquiry agents that can put her life in danger as well as famous serial killers and thieves in her fabricated school life? Pretty low right..? Right?? Watch as Gaela trudges through her mission to protect David Moon, doing side missions, making friends and learning what 'emotions' truly means on the way. •Prequel to 'Valerie's Interest'•
