"What do you say," his voice begins in my ear. I feel his breath tickle my skin. I shiver. "That you and I slip out of here, hmm? We can go to the supply closet down the hall. I'm sure I can get the key." An audible gasp escapes my lips and I spin around to face him. He's close. He's so close. His blue-green eyes peer into mine, dark with an emotion that I'm not sure I've seen in a man before. I'm pressed against my desk and he's right in front of me. I can feel his minty breath fanning my lips. "Or," he starts, moving closer to me. "You could let me take you on a date." Say something, Belle! "There's not a chance in hell that I'll go out with you." I hiss. "Back away from me before I file harassment charges." I put my hands on his strong chest to push him, but he reaches out and grabs me around the ribs, his thumbs nestled under my breasts. He pulls me flush against his chest, his muscular chest pressed against mine. "Are you sure you don't want to go out with me, Rosie?" He murmurs. I feel my skin boiling in pleasure at his touch and I close my eyes, letting out a strangled breath. He smells so good. And then the bell rings, and my eyes fly open. His signature smirk is on his lips as he backs up. "Think about it, baby girl." He winks at me and saunters out of my classroom. What the hell? _____ Rosabelle Caldwell is the strictest teacher in West Valley High School. She's known for sending kids out with referrals, giving the hardest tests, and not letting people think of touching their cell phones. When Alexander Caulton walks into her class as a new teacher, trying to find his class room, she isn't expecting him to ask her out. And he is surely not expecting her to say no. Unfortunately for Rosabelle, Alexander is not one to go down without a fight. He will get Rosabelle all to himself, no matter what it takes.
