After her best friends head off to become Aurors instead of joining her for their final year at Hogwarts, Hermione Granger finds herself desperate for human connection and in a moment of weakness, she seeks comfort in the arms of her former enemy, Draco Malfoy.
Meanwhile, Lucius betrays the werewolf community when he testifies against Fenrir, unexpectedly placing a target on his son's life when the pack decides to crown the last remaining heir to the Malfoy name as their leader.
With the help of their friends, Hermione and Draco hope to save him from a life of pain and isolation, but are they fighting against fate?
DISCLAIMER-i stopped working on this fic after all the bs with jkr. i do not support her, i am not one of those people who believe in separating the art from the artist. and unfortunately this all comes after i was revamping it. so this is finished and half finished in a sense. i'm so sorry for the disappointment but i can't even look at hp stuff anymore without thinking about her many issues. i have zero intentions of continuing edits/rewrites but am leaving it up for those who enjoyed the story. this was my second major writing project. it's where i grew and trained as an author. fanfiction is perfect for getting your bearings as a writer, give it a try!
