Dean Winchester has been abused all his life. He has never known a gentle touch in all of his 17 years of living. His younger brother Sam is 13 and Dean has gave up everything just so Sam could have a normal life.
That included taking Sams beatings from their dad. Deans parents gave up trying to punish Sam, and punished dean instead. Because of such beatings, Dean has developed a fear of being touched by any human, or Haphephobia. Sam has tried to help Dean get over his fear, but he has failed many times.
Dean is starting his final year of high school at a new school and he terrified of it all. Until he meets Castiel Novak.
Will Dean finally make a friend for the first time in years, or will it become more then that?
Will he be able to open up to Castiel and tell him all of his secrets?
And will dean be able to get rid of his fear once and for all?

Castiel Novak comes from a religious family, only having his siblings to turn to since they've never met their mother and their father has abandoned them. Dean became a selective mute after when of his old classmates threatened him, saying if he every talks again he would hurt his family. He has never talked to anyone since he was 14 years old only to his little brother a couple of times. Dean only communicates with his family by using sign language. Sam has always been shy with people and always wanted to be alone and only talked to people he trusted. Castiel works at a coffee shop, he also helps out at his older brothers, Lucifer and Michaels new family diner. Gabriel works at a candy store shop and also helps out at the diner.
