I walked away from him, feeling the warm sand brush through my toes.
"Is this place on earth?" I asked turning back to him.
He shook his head, "This is another dimension of earth."
I looked around...
"So...I'm not asleep?" I asked.
He smiled, "Come back over here."
I laughed and walked up to him, standing at his chest. The rain didn't bother me, even though my hair is getting wet I know it doesn't matter.
"You know we have to fix this, Monroe."
"Fix the war?"
"Yes, we have to put things back together."
I took a deep breath of the fresh air, and let it out.
I love it here.
"Why is this all happening to me?" I asked.
He leaned in closer to me and looked deep into my eyes.
"Do you trust me?"
"I guess I do."
"Something's about to happen, and I just need you to trust me. I'm not leaving you but I hope you won't give up on me."
I felt warm inside hearing him be romantic. Maybe we really could have a relationship...
I don't want him to go.
All of a sudden he pressed his soft pink lips into mine, surprising me with our first kiss.
He pulled away and cracked a smile, "I'll see you soon."
I woke up and looked around...
I really hope that wasn't only a dream.
I laid back down and dozed back to sleep.
