After having a rough Financially  year. Lillian Dryden's parents decide to move to Alberta, as the cattle business is more financially stable there. Lillian knows that it's for the best. 

However she is leaving behind her best friend Davis Kent who at the last minute tells her he has feelings for her.

Once in Alberta Lillian meets the ranch hand that will be helping her father on the ranch. She is swooned by the ranch hand's charm and southern flare. She develops an attraction for him which enters her into deep water as she also has develop feelings for her best friend back home.

Lillian has everything she has ever dreamed of having a huge ranch for her horses, and a cowboy to swipe her off her feet.
