The Betrothed

The White Princess of the planet Joalea is to wed Prince Leander of the planet Tiarus without even seeing his face. Their parents want to merge their monaries together so both planets will be the most unstoppable force in the galaxy. The White Princess, however, is not keen of the idea, feeling like this is just a political agreement and will never result in love.

"His face is unknown - a shadow that sits in my mind unnamed. I try to picture him but my mind is blank. I can't produce an image, a mere idea of his unknown face. Yet, in mere time I will be married to him; I will be his wife."
