it started back in high school. i saw him sitting on the roof. i couldnt keep my eyes off of him while he wrote in a notebook, or started at the sky, or just layed there smoking something funny. he didnt notice me. nobody ever does.
gustav's pov
it started back in high school. i would sit on the roof alone, writing song lyrics, smoking kush, or just staring at the stars. i could have sworn i felt someone watching me, but the feeling passed.

Also the character mainly calls him Peep rather Gus so I'm sorry if you don't prefer that. I tried to make Peeps character as accurate to him as possible but don't hate me if you disagree with some things because they're out of character.
