This is a short (maybe) story about a young girl overthinking on a bus ride.

It was 8:36 a.m. and Deirdre heard one frustrating sister yelling from outside the house "Are you done yet!"


With a panicked reply, Deirdre yelled back "I'm coming!" 

Deirdre tried to carry her black bunny backpack on one shoulder and her purple gym bag on the other. She speed walked out of her room. As Deirdre walked towards the door, she grabbed a banana that was on the kitchen counter. That one plain yellow banana will be her only meal of the day since she has no time to make a decent breakfast. The moment her left foot stepped out the door she could feel the wind nip on the back of her neck.All Rights Reserved
