Melancholy Melodies: From Family to Fantasy is my first ever poetry book. It has 3 parts (1. Them, 2. Him, 3. Her) "Them" is a compilation of poetries about my parents, my paternal grandma and my maternal grandpa, my librarian, and my childhood friend who became my bully in middle school. "Him" is a compilation of poetries about the guy who felt like home. "Her" is a compilation of poems about myself. The covers are edited by me on Canva, and the pictures are taken from Pinterest. The Days With No Sun
Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. This is the evolution of my madness. A cluster of rants and thoughts and poems for you guys. Everything is written how I wanted it to be rants will be long with few pauses and there will be mistakes I might have skipped over. Aha. Everything Hurts
I knew what was coming later tonight, not only at home, but on the way there. I knew that reacting right now would just make it worse though. So I kept quiet and pretended that I was not dreading when I would be alone with the man that stood beside me, wondering when it became so normal to do so. Jason and Alicia have the perfect relationship from the outside looking in, but Alicia has kept her wounded spirit and body hidden well. After another one of Jason's violent rages that is impossible to hide, Alicia is finally able to get away from the abuse though. In the process of healing, she begins to relearn what trust, compassion, and safety are once again - that is, until Jason discovers her whereabouts. That is my conversation between my stepmother and me. Why do I hate her so much? Well I have my own reason. She did so many bad things in her life. Relationship between siblings and parents have been destroy because of her. My heart has been tore into pieces and maybe love can help me?
