This is a novel about my real-life great-great-grandmother who lived a life of deprivation and poverty in Scotland, and her son, my great-grandfather, who emigrated to the United States in 1887 at the age of 15. As always, this is a "first draft" and I welcome comments and feedback.

Rose Quinten is the daughter of an ex-Navy seal turned security for the rich and famous. After a tragic life in England they up and move to sunny California where she meets the bad boy at a party when a guy tried to force himself on her he saves her, keeping her safe in a room they play games all night then things get heated. Rose unknowingly meets the family of the guy she slept with. Rose is in for one hell of an adventure and also gets more than she bargained for in the end. Comments - "I have to say this is a sweet romance that brings the wonders of being a new mom (dad) in to it, Its a romance that id read again (I've already read it a couple of times XD) I love how she (rose) is not like everyone else I've read. Its refreshing, I mean she's strong, hard-headed (at times) And witty. Its funny reading about how she boss's everyone around (in a good way of course) the Adventures. The tell of a girl turning in to the women she is to day. Its breath taking, I'm gonna stop now before I say to much, But its a good book that can make you laugh just as fast as it can make you cry.... "You sure you want to be a magician?" ask an old woman to a boy. "yes Granny Ren. I will be the greatest magician of all Melloyern." He said enthusiastically as the Granny softly caress his small and smooth hand. The boy then ran to his friends as one of them calling him to play football. The Granny look at the boy silently with a solemn smile. Her eye narrow in a soft and gentle gaze she give to the kids that was playing at her yard. "He will be." she said before stand and walk to a well. The boy were born as a normal human. There is no easy way for him to be a magician. he has no mana in him. Or that's what everyone expect from him. Writer: "Hey, that's enough reminiscing about your past. it's the story description section. Not the story yet!" Nakajima: "Fine. I will start with the description." Writer: " good. get back to work." 13 Land Under Holy Crystal Blessing, as the name suggest, It was about a holy crystal that blessed a land. like a mainland or somesort. So... Writer: "is that really the right way to make a description?" Nakajima: *sigh* There is a mainland with 13 state under a flag named Melloyern. These all 13 state have it's very own holy crystal that bless the state individually. But, the crystal contains powerful amount of mana that makes every single person in Melloyern going for it. A group of magician called Denials were up to collect all of the crystal to keep them safe from wrong hands. There is a lot of hindrance in their path such as the Kingdom of Melloyern itself is turning against these guys. Still there are more. Can they survive? it's up to them to decide. Can they achieve what they aim for? It's always up to them to decide their own future. Nakajima: "Satisfied?" Writer: *Claps his hands many time* "Very much." Nakajima: " Can I keep daydreaming?" Waking up to a new reality
Eric was the younger of twelve year old twins, just approaching their thirteenth birthday. Although only six minutes younger than Lauren, she was clearly the alpha character when it came to sibling rivalry; she had an effervescent outgoing personality and exuded confidence in everything that she did. Eric, on the other hand, was introverted and largely lived his life in under the shadow of his sister. That was until Eric was diagnosed with a life threatening condition. Admitted to hospital for emergency life-changing surgery. Waking up a different person there was a new-found confidence and optimism that results in a metamorphosis into a life that is far from the shadows. Born out of Covid-19 lockdown, this was conceived as a light-hearted short story to counteract the doom and gloom that was resulting from the pandemic. It grew longer than expected, as I got to know Erin. The story might still be a bit rough round the edges, but I wanted to release it in time for summer vacation reading. There is no violence or hatred, just kindness and acceptance. For those that discount this as unrealistic of the real world, I counter two arguments: 1) It is a complete work of fiction. 2) My son went to Lycee (Senior secondary school) in rural France, where attitudes are generally very conservative. Despite this, there was a girl his his year, who believed she should have been a boy. HE was accepted for who he was, without prejudice. Hopefully it offers a little light reading with a happy ending. Not that the story is set in Scotland and the spelling reflects British convention, perhaps with some Scottish dialect thrown in.Concluida
