Creative Writing 2 Journals
A collection of 'journals' from my Creative Writing 2 class. Journals are like warm-ups that we do daily at the beginning of class. Each journal has a prompt that my wonderful teacher creates or finds online. The first 4 have a paragraph at the beginning in parenthesis that says "Paraphrased Prompt" because I don't remember exactly, word for word, what the prompt was. There shall be about 80 journals at least by the end of the semester. After journal number 43, it restarts at 1 because a new grading period began.. Each journal is MY writing; therefore, I own it. It All Started With A Note
It all started with a note. I didn't completely go "ga-ga" over the fact that the most popular guy in school left me a note, but it definitely sent my world for a loop. Everything changed after that and I was just along for the ride. Who knew that one little note could change so much, but it did. The question now was, what was I going to do about it? (I wrote this when I was thirteen so read at your own risk since I had no idea where I was going.) Before everything got out of hand, confusing, exiting, heartbreaking and wild like a football match. Life was unbearable but this is how it started..... It was just ordinary day in school. My first day back now in my senior year before I head off to college. The last class was English one of my favourite subjects. Half way through the teacher left us to go to the office after a phone call had been dialled. I was tapped on the shoulder by a girl behind me with everyone staring at me with no expressions at all. She had a note in her hand folded up perfectly to be origami. I took the note and unfolded it leaving the flawless fold even. I read the note in my head as I let it fall out of my hands, hitting the desk in complete silent. "Frances May, I like you."Terminé
New Girl
"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. I mean like seriously, EX; has she not heard of that quote, 'Thanks for the EXperience, Our time has EXpired, now EXit my life.' She is one clueless bimbo. Then again who would leave him alone he is S-E-X-Y!" I laughed. "I am going to love being your friend." I said while I looked back to where he had headed a while ago, but I no longer saw him. "This sounds different, also because it's coming from my teacher" I respond taking the cards out of his hands.
