After getting betrayed by the person closest to her, Selene is kicked out of the Vampire Hunter Academy on a one year suspension. Now being moved from foster home to foster home due to her bad attitude, she's determined to find out why she was betrayed in the first place. But once she knows she'll faced with a choice: to scrape up the remaining pieces of her life and get back into VHA... or decide to let it all go. 


I wrote this short story a LONG time ago and originally posted it on FF, BUT I decided to finish it and post it here instead. It focuses less on the paranormal part and more on the characters lives/relationships. Contains mature content, abuse, and colorful language.Alle Rechte vorbehalten

Since this is a fem reader I will be using she/her pronouns and give y/n female body parts. please enjoy the rest of this description. Actual description: Y/n, a girl with little to none emotions. Or at least they don't show. Her mind is dark and so is everything she says when she does talk. She refuses to speak unless she wants, or has to talk to someone. But when she does, people tend to find it creepy or they begin to fear her. She has a loving family, is an only child and has everything she could want. Makes you wonder why she is like this.... That's for another time though... After an... incident, at her other school, she is transferred to Nevermore Academy. Her father was an angel, her mother being a demon who has chosen to be good, fell in love and had y/n. Y/n is a hybrid because of this. Her demon side takes affect more than it should though. Her parents chose for her to go to Nevermore so she could be around other kids like her. Meaning other outcasts. Her parents want her to make friends. Or even someone to love. She is obviously not interested in this. She hates people. Why would she willingly talk to any of them. She sees no point in even making friends... I wonder why? What happens when she is roomed next to the most feared boy in Nevermore and with the happiest girl alive? An Academy/ Ghost Bird Fanfic. Inspired by the characters and story by C.L. Stone. This story contains characters that are similar to the Ghost Bird ones , but not quite the same. The world looks like ours to the general public, but hidden in the shadows are horrifying creatures and the extraordinary humans who hunt them. Selene does not look anything like her parents and her eyes are uncanny- leaving her parents unsettled. Especially since they never wanted a child anyway. As she grows, she asks about things no one else can see or feel - which only makes things worse. The world is much too dangerous for Selene- no one will understand and will only try to hurt her. She is hidden away in her parents' large and lonely house- for her own good of course. Her life changes forever though one late afternoon when she finds that her wooded backyard is no longer the sanctuary she has always counted on. She learns that the world is a terrifying place, but not for the reasons her mother has always given her.- But more importantly, 5 young men will show her that she truly is a treasure - one that they have been desperately searching for. I have rated this a mature because I am not sure exactly where this story will go...
