Marilyn always gets good roles in the school play. Sara only signed up because she needed an extra circular activity. Anna was forced to audition by her mother. Marilyn is talented. Sara thinks she's talented. Anna has no confidence at all. Marilyn is friendly but has no really close friends. Sara is the type of girl who posts pictures on Instagram of her and her million friends, captioning them with pop song lyrics. Anna is a total nerd, and also a geek, in addition to being a lover of all things knowledge.
They're not similar people, in fact none of them have ever even spoken to one another before. So what could possibly bring them together? There's only one thing that takes different people from different places. That makes a show of real life. That's the music, the dance steps, the stage make up and the costume changes of dressing room number seven.
