"Are you sure you want to do this?" She asked, her voice shaking and her heart beat almost palpable. "Blood is thicker than water." I repeated the phrase as I had countless times before, but this time, it meant something different.
On the secluded college campus of Grand Mountain University, a group ran the halls. Their presence made others' backs go stiff, or wilt in their company. They had the breath of importance and intimidation, and the fight to become one was often called "bloody." The Nines were an elite group that was hard to penetrate. When one girl does, they didn't anticipate how hard they would have to fight to keep everything that they had worked for from slipping right through their fingertips.
