Mature
Elle Herring is a normal teenager. She goes to school, she lives with both of her parents, she does chores, and she does everything you do. Elle’s just unhappy. She’s been called names and teased almost her whole life. After a while you start to believe things like this.
Elle has always been envy of her older, thinner and more beautiful sister, Gemma. She couldn’t bear to be her shadow anymore. She does whatever it takes to be like her no matter the consequences and impacts it has on her.
She developed an unhealthy habit that helped her become “perfect”. After a slight push in this direction she completely changes herself inside and out. She was a new Elle.
But when Elle realised that she still wasn’t completely happy, even after her rise to the top, she started to rethink her choices.
“After everything, was it all really worth it?” “Will I ever be the same?” “This isn’t what I wanted.” “I just want to be happy.”
