For a few seconds she was even sure that her mind was playing tricks on her. But it wasn't.

"Lucita?" His voice was deeper than she remembered. Her first impulse was to turn around as fast as she could, but she kept herself from doing that. Lucia took a deep breath, closing her eyes for a few seconds. Just as she had to prepare for what her eyes would see in a few seconds. Or whom."
