"You can't, Isaiah, you're not here."
Tears pricked at my eyes as I sent a text back. Long distance hurts so much. Why did he have to live so far away? My phone went off, bringing me out of my thoughts.
"What if I was?"
I shook my head as I read the text, refusing to let him fill me with false hope.
"You're so far away, love."
As I typed I began sobbing.
