The Way brothers come from a very dangerous neighborhood in New Jersey, shootings, vandalism, and break ins constantly occurred all around them. On top of the challenges already in place, the country had just been sucked into a world war.

Both Mikey and Gerard had been drafted and shipped off to some secret base overseas to train for combat. They stand along side their best, most trusted friends Ray, Bob, James, and Frank. Fear struck in each and every soul at the awful base. With a bastard General in charge, the young men struggled to be.

The boys make a few new friends and help hide their secrets to avoid being killed... along with secrets of their own.

But what they didn't know is that not everybody comes home after war.

So... what does happen when you die? Are you forgotten? Do you burn in hell? Or maybe... another fate awaits you. Perhaps that fate is a mysterious parade in the middle of an uncharted, dead land.

One thing made certain, there is no escaping the never ceasing, torturous march of the black parade.

This is in the 1940's as is my set perspective. If I use offensive words, I apologize I am not racist, sexist, or homophobic... I promise.
