As a new Guardian of the Last Safe City on Earth, Lilliana Qu'lene is supposed to follow the rules to ensure humanity's safety and future. As a Hunter, she is entitled to break these rules at will, for better or worse. But as an Awoken, she also has a duty to fulfill; a duty to the Awoken Queen, Mara Sov.
Skolas has taken command of the House of Wolves after Virixas was killed in the Battle of the Ceres, and has fled from the Queen's judgement. Mara, in a desperate bid to capture the new Kell and wreck his House, sends Petra Venj to deliver a message to the City: "All Awoken Guardians will be mobilized to bring this beast to justice. No one else intervenes. No exceptions." In response to this, Speaker Hedge issued a new statement to the Guardians, one that forbids any Guardian from assisting any nation that never officially allied itself with the City.
Faced with their first missions, Lilliana and her sister, Jess, must find and hunt down Skolas. But are their pursuits noble? Or are they based on the rigid traditions set by the City and the Queen?

"You're not brave, you've merely forgotten the fear of death...Allow me to reacquaint you." The words wouldn't leave her head... Ghaul's mocking tone, the way he looked down at her like she was nothing but an ant beneath his boot with his eyes narrowed and stance radiating a smug triumph that made the Young Wolf grit her teeth and clench her jaw even days after the fact. His words though wasn't what caused her anger, even if they did send a pang of, something through her body. She ignored that (like she always did) and focused on the matter at hand for now, (for her feelings didn't matter; they never would.) Ghaul had invaded her home, the home of her people and captured the Traveler right from under their noses. He slaughtered her people, killed all who hadn't evacuated and he not once cared for the amount of innocent lives he took. The blood of men, women and children who just wanted to live in peace... He had killed all who stood in his way, and The Guardian hadn't been able to stop him from doing so... She had failed...she was right there before him and had fallen down on her knees, too exhausted to get back up and fight without her Light. (She was Weak...a failure...a coward...) The Titan could still feel the phantom pain coursing through her body in the aftermath of the attack, when she had woken up barely alive without her powers back in the city but now, sitting around her small camp as she finally took a break after days of walking that did nothing but fuel her anger. She'd find a way to stop the Red Legion, find a way to kill Ghaul with or without the Light even if it was the last thing she did. -OR: The Red War begins; The Young Wolf is pissed, never before has she failed like this, failed to protect her people but the Guardian is willing to do whatever it takes to make things right, even at the expense of her own health.Complete

Olympus was attacked by the darkness. All the gods died trying to defend themselves. Even Zeus was powerless. The Olympians died and a new God came. The Traveler. With his light he created the Guardians. Dead people were reborn as guardians and with Traveler's light they go against the darkness. But darkness is really powerful and the Traveler needs help. So, he creates a special ghost. A ghost looking like the others but far more powerful. A ghost which is fated to reborn a God. Artemis, one of the most powerful Olympians, daughter of Zeus and Lyto, big Apollo's twin sister, Goddess of the Hunt is reborn by that ghost. They both know nothing about their powers, their past or their destiny. Artemis, like all the Guardians, forgets her past. She doesn't hate men and she remembers nothing about her virginity vow. With the other gods dead, this oath means nothing.
