Cass didn't take kindly to that, and she knows why. 

Before Cassandra's mother died, she kept a dangerous secret from her. 

Cassandra faces challenges when her stepfather is suddenly abducted, and acquiring a new trait while dealing with the unknown and the supernatural findings with those in her friend group. 

While struggling to come to terms with what is happening, Cassie is left uncontrollable, causing her to change and adapt to new circumstances.

She has to deal with life and death situations that will affect everyone around her.
