Erika una joven egresada en la carrera de literatura, tiene el anhelo de poder publicar novelas, pero todas las editoriales la rechazan por ser demasiado joven, por lo que acude a la "Editorial trivial" la cual ella subestima por tener pocos años de ser abierta, aquí se publican los libros de Oliver Writhen, el escritor mas famoso hasta el momento, Erika tendrá que ser su editora y también su aprendiz antes de publicar un libro. 
Ambos narran sus vidas en el trabajo y en sus pasados, así el porque llegaron a escribir novelas. 
En la editorial se desarrollan romances de todo tipo; Románticos,  imposibles, egoístas, homosexuales, tóxicos. 
Su único testigo mudo es la editorial trivial.
