The Revelation was the turning point of society. It brought genetic enhancements through the Serum of almost magical abilities. Countries no longer existed, and those that remained were placed into kingdoms, each with different values and ideals.

 With uptopian worlds protected by heavy, overpowered militaries, Subject-X fit in perfectly. She knew no other world besides the one focused on combat skills and number of kills, and by far, her particular skill set put her at the top of the top. It wasn't enough.

In the year 2647 a war with held. There was only ten tribes that made up the world. Out of the 10 tribes, 10 sets of twins were chosen from each of the 10 tribes. When you were chosen you were given 1 of 10 different symbols that would determine your fighting skill, and what weapon you use. The 10 different categories are, sniper, bomber, Archer, swordsman, artist, hypnotist, flamethrower, baton, acro, and knife thrower. all of them have pros and cons. At the age of 13 you and your twin well be separated and spread randomly throughout the world. One twin will lose all memory of the other twin, well as for the other twin still has memory of the other twin. The twins that remembers the other twin has to find the other twin before the other players in the war find your twin and kills them. It's a race against time and only 10 out of the 100 pairs of twins will survive. (so 20 out of 200 kids) WHO WILL WIN?

After a while of putting up with Danny though, you had you're last straw ripped away when he hurt you're beloved Mary. You ran away to start a new life, taking Mary with you. You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. No one really knew how X's came to be. One day there weren't any, the next day half the population was wiped out. All Karma knew was that they are technological monsters, fit to be the world's biggest weapon, after the splitting particle ray which could reduce any person into air particles in a millisecond. Karma realised how simple it would be to destroy an army even with one X. They were practically indestructible, perfect killing machines, only they'd turned on the government, apparently. Or maybe those bastards had escaped perfectly unharmed, watching how the country was being destroyed. Maybe it was an excuse for overpopulation. xx-xx Karma has been trying to survive for over a year, but it's difficult when X's, mechanical killing machines, roam the streets, hungry for human flesh. Every day that passes by without finding a portal brings the morale lower. They need to escape the country before they all end up dead. It doesn't help that the X's have changed their tactics and are now manipulating people to commit suicide. The death rate keeps increasing, and Karma has to find out what family means, and to what extremes she would go to save the ones she loves.
