Back in the days when Severus was still a loyal follower of the Dark Lord Voldemort, far before Lily Potter's death occurred, vengeance was still boiling inside him. Not because of her or James Potter. No, they're not involved in this short story; Severus wanted to avenge his cruel, heartless, abusive father, Tobias Snape. His entire childhood had been horrible because of the wrat that had befouled his life.
When Severus was younger, he'd promised himself, he'd do anything to let his father shut up. Several years later, he had finally managed to muster all his strengths together and decided to put an end to the miserable life of the merciless, cold, unkind drunkard he had to call 'father' for more than seventeen dreadful years.
He'd kill his father and do his mother a favour. She'd often protected him - if his father hadn't knocked her over and unconscious. Severus would spare her life, but end the life of the man who'd made their lives a living hell...
