Derek begins to feel a sharp pain in his chest he describes it as a physical heartbreak. After Derek goes to see Deaton, Deaton explains Derek needs to find his mate and explains his mate is someone he shares an emotional tether to because that is what is triggering his pain. Fortunately for Derek Stiles knows how to help him track down people who Derek shared intimate moments with. Throughout the process of helping Derek find his mate both of them open up to one another creating a connection.

UPDATED. COMPLETED FANFIC Things get a little weird after the pack has to get used to having two alphas. scotts eyes still blaze red but now dereks have regained their crimson tint. Not only that but scott has been the centre of attention and jokes as he's been scent marking Kira to warn off other packs. His scent is so strong it masks Derek marking stiles. After saving each others lives, both Derek and Stiles unearth feelings for each other, but just how connected they are come as a shock to even Deaton. When they open up to eachother, what will happen, when old enemies return and shadows fall over becon hills once more, how will things unfold. Includes a good plot line, alot of sterek scenes and has some twists and turns!Completa

The Convention
Derek is at a convention, no, THE convention. The convention that Alphas meet at twice a year, every year, to pick their omega. Derek is a very well known Alpha. He's strong, has good ancestors, and has gone through lots of omega training. He knows what he's doing and everyone else knows that as well.
