Darkness was gone. The eternal night had come to its end. Creatures and daemons could waste away with so much light reflected upon the sand. The long waited dawn has arrived. It should have been working well. The crystal must had cure Insomnia. Luna was just by his side a moment ago. He only had one question left: Why is Noctis in this mortal world again? As the youngest member of the Kingsglaive, your job has always been relatively simple, even if your life hasn't been. You are - as the name of the organization you've dedicated your life to suggests - a sword of the king. You fight his war for him and in exchange, he does his best for the home you were forced to leave behind. But when Insomnia falls and you join Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum and his retinue on their journey, you start to learn that maybe there's more to life than just fighting wars. Pity it takes you so long to get you there. [NOCTIS X READER] Slow burn. I'm talking 100,000 words go by and you guys literally establish each other as friends. Also contains Prompto/OC and Ignis/OC. Could also have Gladiolus/Reader depending on your interpretation, but endgame is Noct/Reader. Top Ranks: #1 in the Final Fantasy XV tag #1 in the Noctis x Reader tag
