Emma is a 16 year old girl who lives with her best friend, Riv, on the Tesserabas Islands. On these islands, the people can control the elements. Emma is a wind-speak, which means she can control the wind, and Riv is a water-speak, and the next in line to be chief. Everything seemed to be looking up for the both of them, when suddenly, Emma and Riv are whisked away from the islands, and each other. And to top it off, Emma can't use her powers anymore.
