{Part of Disguise series}

When Jyneari Serpaie, only child of one of the most powerful and influential pureblood families, goes to Hogwarts, everyone is shocked to see her break tradition. Despite her family's threats and anger, Jyneari soars through Hogwarts with her head held high. Joining up with the notorious pranking crew, Jyneari finds contentment in the friendship of one who is in the same boat as her.

Also the victim of a shocking Sorting, Sirius Black has it pretty easy at Hogwarts with girls swooning at the sight of him and his careless attitude making him very popular. His immediate befriending of Blood-Traitors only fuels his mother's anger towards him. Sirius didn't expect to feel so drawn to another, especially someone from his own background. But Jyneari was always one to surprise.

While both were content with their friendship, denying that it would ever go further, everyone else saw it from day one. And as both are cast out from their families, they come to rely on each other for solace.

The pressure of suppressing her emotions begins to take its toll, and it's only a matter of time before she breaks. She knows that she must tell Sirius how she truly feels if they ever stand a chance. As she struggles to win Sirius back, dark forces continue to loom over Hogwarts.
