When Jyneari Serpaie, only child of one of the most powerful and influential pureblood families, goes to Hogwarts, everyone is shocked to see her break tradition. His immediate befriending of Blood-Traitors only fuels his mother's anger towards him. Sirius didn't expect to feel so drawn to another, especially someone from his own background. But Jyneari was always one to surprise.

While both were content with their friendship, denying that it would ever go further, everyone else saw it from day one. And as both are cast out from their families, they come to rely on each other for solace.
