Book One: Blaze

Let's get one thing straight. This is NOT a book about superheroes, at least not the kind you think. My name is Nick Wilson. I'm your average nineteen-year-old college freshman. You know, except for the fact that I have powers most people only dream of. And boy, oh boy, is it not what I expected. When you read about superheroes in comics, you only see then fun parts. You know, cool powers, lots of girls, fame, fortune, it's awesome! What's not to love right? Wrong. They don't tell you about the pain, the suffering, the lying, the double life, the- I think you get the point. Anyway, let me tell you the story of how I learned that being extraordinary isn't all it's cracked up to be.
