Rosalie Bainbridge's perfect life as a princess of Glerindale is turned upside down when her whole family is killed right in front of her eyes. With luck on her side, she escapes and flees to a small town outside of the kingdom. There she finds a close relative and changes her identity in an attempt to hide from the people that now want to finish the job. Everything goes well until she finds out that her attackers are closing in, and that there is no where to run. She expects big, scary men to be the ones that finally find and capture, but to her dismay it ends up being someone she considered a friend... or maybe more?

Two boys. One summer. And a secret that ends in blood. When Morgan Jones is abandoned by her powerful mother in a sleepy beach town for the summer, she expects loneliness. What she doesn't expect is Jake - the quiet, steady bookstore boy who makes her feel safe for the first time in her life. Or Cam - reckless, dangerous, impossible to ignore. The boy everyone warns her about... and the one she can't stay away from. What Morgan doesn't know is that Jake and Cam are already bound by something darker than rivalry. A secret that will turn love into betrayal, and desire into something deadly. By the end of the summer, one boy will be in handcuffs. One will be bleeding. And Morgan will have to live with the truth of which one she chose - and how much it cost. Trigger Warning: Verbal and physical aggression Alcohol and drug use by minors Sexual assault Gun violence
