In New Europe, The King has proclaimed his son must find a suitable wife to marry within one month, otherwise he will be forced to marry the Princess of Asiatic. Prince Adam holds large balls in each of the twelve provinces, finding no connections with anyone anywhere. When a ball is held in Cambria, one of the last provinces, he meets a young girl, named Aurelia Butterfield. Aurelia is the daughter of a veterinarian, and the stepdaughter of a nurse. While waiting for her boyfriend, Jack Greene, she encounters the stressed Prince, who invites her for a dance. The one dance turns into multiple, after seeing Jack with another girl. The two young seventeen year olds, meet up for a month, and they go through hardships and adventures. Upon meeting the Royal Family, she finds out there is another who is in love with the young Prince, living in the castle, living amongst the royals. As time passes, the council believes their is a mole among them, for the rebels seem to be one step ahead of the military. As the young prince announces his engagement, the castle is attacked by the rebel groups, revealing the spy. Will the futuristic Cinderella story find it's happy ending?
