An attempt to create a gem of writing that can be placed alongside others in the genre. My goal is good writing and a captivating storyline.

When Ben Solo turns his back on the First Order, aiding the Resistance in a crucial battle taking place at least a year after the events of The Last Jedi, he is sentenced to be exiled, and with him, Rey, with whom he shares a powerful Force Bond. But their roads are going in opposite directions and Rey does her best to bring Ben back to the light side; back to her. What will the two give up for each other when their are willing to pay anything to be with the other one but they are both too proud to do it? Confronting Fear

Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them.
