mackenzie ziegler is just an average girl. she's going to school to become a doctor, she visits her family very often, and she makes amazing spaghetti. but one day her best friend from high school, annie leblanc, unexpectedly calls her after five years. within that five to ten minute call, she finds herself making plans to go on a trip to india with some old friends. little did she know, that trip changed her whole life.

then there's johnny orlando. he's got big dreams. really big dreams. ever since he was young, he's always wanted to be a singer. his parents wanted him to become a doctor or a scientist, but that didn't stop him from accomplishing his dreams. he was also invited on the trip to india along with annie, hayden, and his sister lauren.

who knew that this three week trip could rekindle such a loving friendship and turn it into so much more.
