This is a future fic/one-shot written for @Fanfic's current contest (as on January 2018). The premise of the contest is to write a short story surrounding the child of one of the main characters from a series - for this story, my character's parents are Jacob Portman and Emma Bloom (now Emma Portman) from the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children trilogy.
