This is a future fic/one-shot written for @Fanfic's current contest (as on January 2018). The premise of the contest is to write a short story surrounding the child of one of the main characters from a series - for this story, my character's parents are Jacob Portman and Emma Bloom (now Emma Portman) from the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children trilogy. Some of the actors will be the same, but Olive will still be a little girl who floats, Emma will have fire powers, Hugh and Fiona will still be teenagers, and the loop date will be September 3rd, 1940.
