Emily is eleven when she meets Harry Styles in 1932. She's eleven when she realizes her life won't be the same without him. However, when Harry is drafted into the new world war her bond with him will be tested. Her best friend will be fighting not only for his life but for her country's, and she can't stomach the thought. All she can do is hope that her best friend comes home safely. After all, hope was a key to survival.

4 years before D-Day , British troops are stranded on the boarder of France known as Dunkirk. They wait for salvation from promised Destroyer ships to bring them back to England, but German troops are near and flying in the air looking for anything with a red,white and blue flag flying. A soldier with the name of Harry is just as stranded as any other boy on the beach, but a presence of a nurse who is also among them could change him before his ride back home. This is a take on the new movie Dunkirk with Harry Styles in it, but with more of a love story added to it. The story line follows with the movie's with my own tweaks, so most rights are to the movie.Complete
