Being one of the last Jedi's was the last thing on Miko mind. Miko was with Master Yoda when the order 66 was given to the clones trooper to terminate all Jedi.
After Padme had Luke and Leia. Masters Obi-Wan and Yoda spoke with Senator Organa what do do with the twins, since Padme died and that the Jedi would go into hiding. But Master Yoda had a different plan for his old Padawan Miko.
