Seraph was the one to be sent to kill the God of destruction Ulthar, and he completed his task. 

But not without Ulthar killing him too. Ulthar shattered his soul into three pieces. So if he were to ever rise again, Seraph wouldn't be there to stop him. 

And almost a millenia later, Ulthar has rises again, this time setting his sights on Earth.

What he didn't know was that Seraph seemed to reincarnate a bit of himself into different person. And he is here to stop the rise of Ulthar yet again.

But, who's to say he will succeed?
