"Can you and pa tell me a story before bed please?" Joe asks his dad as he tucks him in. His dad looks at him with a loving smile and asks, "What would you like to hear?" He watches his son scrunch up his face as he tries to think of an answer. After a few moments Joe speaks.
"A love story, but not with a princess and prince." Joe's dad gives him a sideways look and quickly smiles when he sees his husband walk in the room and sit next to him. As they begin to replay the story in their heads Joe's dad asks him. "Well how about a love story about how the sun died everyday just to let his love, the moon, live every night?"

About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it.
