When Niall Horan and Lacey Bickford meet for the first time it is certainly under abnormal circumstances. Lacey, a childhood friend of Liam Payne's, has suddenly been approached by Modest Management and asked to serve as Niall's "girlfriend" in the hopes of drawing some of the media attention away from Harry's most recent breakup with the one and only Taylor Swift. Lacey is happy to do her friend, Liam, a favor, but she is about to enter into a whirlwind she never planned for. Both Lacey and Niall have signed a strict contract, but as they grow to know each other through the chaos of publicity stunts and planned public outings they begin to question what it is they have agreed to.
